Edizione 2011
Sono passati dieci anni dalla prima edizione delle “Veterane sulle strade dei vini” e, da quel momento, anno dopo anno, sono aumentati gli equipaggi con una qualità di autovetture sempre crescente. Equipaggi, che provengono anche dall’estero con mezzi unici, ci hanno fatto sentire veramente molto orgogliosi.
La decima edizione il sabato ci porterà nel basso Piemonte, un’area ricca di tradizioni artistiche e culinarie. I partecipanti assaporeranno specialità locali uniche nel loro genere. Vini prestigiosi e rinomati, che solo queste terre possono produrre, faranno da complemento.
Al massimo livello, come d’abitudine, anche l’ospitalità in una struttura termale esclusiva, dotata di Beauty Farm che si estende su quasi 1000 metri quadri completamente a vostra disposizione, l’ideale per rilassarsi dopo una giornata di guida.
Proprio per festeggiare i dieci anni di vita l’evento prenderà l’avvio già dal venerdì con una “notturna” fino ad Acqui Terme, intervallata da una sosta per la cena in una rinomata cantina vitivinicola sul percorso. Ma le sorprese non sono finite qui. I partecipanti vivranno momenti particolari, caratteristici degli anni d’oro dell’automobilismo quando si correva sulle strade aperte al traffico. E quindi ecco una punzonatura alla vecchia maniera con tanto di piombatura delle autovetture e numeri di gara pitturati a mano, proprio come si faceva un tempo.
radito sarà un abbigliamento dei partecipanti che dovrà essere in armonia con il periodo di produzione dell’autovettura. Un ricco premio, consistente in un fine settimana offerto dall’Hotel Nuove Terme di Acqui, verrà attribuito all’equipaggio che saprà vestirsi più in sintonia con la tipologia e l’età della proprio mezzo.
La domenica sarà dedicata alla rievocazione storica del Circuito Bordino che si svolgerà all’interno della settecentesca “Cittadella” di Alessandria; dove le auto potranno sfrecciare tra le vie dell’ ex fortezza militare e l’immenso parco che la circonda. Un’esperienza unica che può essere vissuta soltanto in Alessandria, vista l’unicità del complesso considerato il più grande in Europa.
Anche quest’anno la manifestazione sarà seguita dalla RAI con tante interviste ai partecipanti e la presenza di un testimonial d’eccezione.
A nome del Club Bordino ringrazio tutti gli amici senza i quali sarebbe impossibile dar vita a questo evento che ci riporterà indietro di decenni, facendoci rivivere le atmosfere delle vere corse automobilistiche. Vi aspetto numerosi per un’edizione veramente speciale!

2011 Edition
From the very First Edition of “Le Veterane sulle strade dei vini” 10 good years have gone by, and since then onwards, we may say that, year after year, quality cars crews have steadily increased, showing also the participation of several cars crews with unique vehicles from abroad, which made us feel particularly proud about it.
This 10th Edition will start in the southern part of Piedmont, in an area particularly rich in Arts and Food, so that everyone will have the chance to savour the local and unique specialities, like the prestigious and famous wines, for instance, which are mainly produced from this particular type of soil and cultivation.
Top hospitality, as usual, can be experienced in a famous and reknown Spa structure, exclusive, with a Wellness Center expanding on 1000 square meters, where everyone will find all kind of possibilities to exercise and relax after a day of driving.
To better celebrate this 10th anniversary, the Event will already start on the Friday with a ‘night out’ in Acqui Terme, with a pleasant dinner in a famous Wine Cellar. Several surprises will follow: as everyone will see, there will be the chance to live special moments, revival and echoe of what used to happen in the Golden Years when the Car Racing used to take place on the roads open to traffic. There will be an old fashioned punching with car sealing with lead and the competition numbers hand painted, exactly as it used to be done in those days.
A Participants’ clothing reflecting and harmonizing with the period of the vehicle production will also be very welcome, and a rich Prize will be awarded to the Crew which will better represent and express the type and time of its own vehicle.
Sunday will be devoted to the historical recalling of the Bordino Circuit within the 18th Century ‘Cittadella’ of Alessandria, where cars will be able to race through the ex military Fortress and throughout the huge park surrounding it. A unique experience which can be lived solely in Alessandria, as this complex is esteemed to be the widest and ‘the only one’ in Europe.
Once more all the Event will be entirely recorded by RAI, with several interviews to participants and with the presence of a very special testimonial.
To conclude and on behalf of the BORDINO CLUB, may I express my heartfelt thanks to all its Friends, without whom there would not have been the possibility to perform this Event, in remainder of the atmosphere of true Motor Racing!
